Mimi's was started in 2007. For 25 years, I have been in the hair care business ... Sometimes working full time and sometimes just doing family and friends. I have worked for many people and companies over the years and I decided it was time to "go for it!" I wanted a salon enviroment where I could put the two most important things to me into my work enviroment and be surrounded by them always ... FAITH and FAMILY !!!!!! So when you stop by, you will see pictures of our kids, grandkids, husbands ... those who mean the world to us. You'll also be greeted by the sounds of Christian music playing , the "Scripture of the day" on the shelf and if you have a need, you'll certainly get prayed for !! I believe that by having those two "ingredients" in my salon, it makes it a warm, pleasant, peaceful atmosphere that people like to come to. Not to mention the wonderful prices and the awesome service you will receive when you're there !!! Oh yeah ... people always want to know "Where did Mimi come from ? " I became a grandma for the first time in 2007 ( My "rooster" ... Gracie Lynn and Seth James ( the "wookie" ) was born in May 2008 ...... and I chose "Mimi" as the name to go by with my new wonderful grandchildren.
